The Hospice – Home for the Terminally Ill is located Sabaudia, on the Lazio coast, 90 km far from Rome. It is surrounded by nature and overlooking the sea, a delightful place for the spirit where patients and their loved ones can spend the days with the highest possible quality of life for all the time that remains. Characterized by a large covered terrace, the building is designed to be used as much as possible in the open air: the main functions are inside but separated by large opening windows. The temple is designed as a sacred enclosure in which the roof is the sky itself. The main front faces the sea to ensure a constant view of the horizon, while the access front is separated from the road by a wall and a garden.
